How it works:

Shaft and core chuck rotate as one member in bearings and can be driven or braked. Operator loads material onto core chuck and inflates. While core chuck is rotating, operator can grab the adjusting nut with one hand and turn the adjusting screw with the other hand. This unique feauture allows the machine to continue running without the need to shut down the line for adjustments in axial postion of web. This is the fine adjustment / lateral adjusting feature. Typical adjustment range of adjustment is +/-1/2". Larger adjustment ranges are available.

To make coarse adjustment to roll position, lock the adjustable core stop along the bar in the desired location. When roll is loaded, it will hit against the adjustable core stop and postion the roll.
